Keep two price records
Only when the exact offer applies to your purchase. A Clubcard,Nectar or multi-buy display is a conditional price record,not a reason to overwrite the ordinary selected-package amount. Our three main observations use the public selected-item prices described in the offer guide; they do not silently assume a loyalty card or a qualifying basket.
Check all conditions together
A real comparison should save the retailer,exact SKU,required package quantity,membership condition and relevant offer dates. A two-for price may lower the per-package arithmetic while increasing the amount you must buy. It is not equivalent to a single-pack price available without that commitment. Different schemes and retailers do not share eligibility.
Do not invent eligibility
For example,a shopper who only needs one box cannot assume half of a hypothetical two-box promotion is the payable price for one. The shelf may show both a normal and promotional rate; keep each on a separate line until the exact terms are known. A badge elsewhere in the category is not evidence that it covers the selected pack.
Choose the quote you can actually use
Enter the actual confirmed pack quote and a confirmed merchandise credit in the local ledger. The tool does not log into loyalty accounts,check vouchers or submit an order. If the offer terms,postcode or delivery date remain unknown,keep the ordinary observation and mark the promotion unresolved. This avoids presenting a conditional saving as universally available.
