Choose a supported target unit
Choose declared matching sheets or the relevant whole retail units, enter the target you want and subtract stock counted on the same basis. The tool then rounds up purchases to complete selected packs. It does not choose a household target for you or estimate how long a person will use the supply. Blank, fractional, negative or over-limit counts remain unresolved.
Subtract matching held stock
For the selected kitchen pack,a 450-sheet target with 100 matching declared sheets held leaves 350 wanted. Each complete pack supplies 200 declared sheets,so buying two adds 400 and gives final stock of 500,50 above the target. Buying 1.75 retail packs is not an available whole-pack result. Keep the surplus visible rather than silently lowering the target.
Round purchases,not the target
A 96-sheet tissue box uses a different package denominator. Do not subtract kitchen sheets from a facial-tissue target,or combine unknown counts with known sheets. For the toilet selection, the 1710 total comes from an average-sheets statement; the calculation remains a declared-average planning quantity, not an audit of each delivered roll.
Recognise an average declaration
If held stock already meets the target, the tool returns zero additional packs. If the package count is unknown,it refuses the conversion instead of inventing a standard roll. Confirm storage space, actual price and current pack before purchasing. These are bounded arithmetic results, not forecasts of consumption or instructions to stockpile.
