Area needs two actual dimensions

No. A meaningful finished-sheet area needs that exact selection’s length and width, plus its supported sheet count. Roll count, outer diameter, brand name or ply count cannot replace either dimension. Our three selected purchase records do not all establish the dimensions needed for a common area rate,so the cost tool refuses that unsupported basis.

Keep layers outside the area count

Where an exact source genuinely provides both dimensions, the geometric area of a rectangular finished sheet is length multiplied by width in a consistent unit. Multiplying by the number of finished sheets gives total declared geometric area. Multiplying again by ply count changes the meaning to layer area and must not be presented as extra usable sheets.

Refuse missing measurements

The Savers Kleenex Original reference lists 20 by 20 cm for its own 64-sheet box. That does not establish dimensions for the selected Waitrose Essential 96-sheet box or the Andrex toilet roll. Nor does a generic ruler in an illustrative photograph prove any retail package’s actual dimensions. No physical sheet measurements were made here.

Choose a practical next step

If area is decisive, ask for the exact SKU’s current dimensions or obtain and measure a received sample using a documented method. Until then, compare within the supported per-pack or declared-sheet basis and state the limitation. Missing area is an unresolved comparison, not permission to invent a standard sheet size.
